The conference will take place at Kalkscheune. Please refer to the venue website for general information about the venue, including floor plans and pictures of the various rooms. The visitor information provides details regarding the location and travel to the venue.
We are looking forward to the many interactive sessions and presentations that have been proposed. Below please find information about the logistical aspects of organizing your session/flash talk at FORCE2017.
Except for the main room (Galerie), you need to bring your own laptop for projecting slides etc. A HDMI connector is provided. Please be sure your computer has the correct HDMI connection or adaptor. Please also bring any other material that is required for your sessions (paper, pens, post-its etc).
If your presentation involves live video streaming, we advise you to have a local backup available, as WiFi bandwidth is limited.
Please note that sessions in the main room (Galerie) will be live-streamed, and recordings will be made available from the conference website afterwards.
Before your session starts, please upload your slides, poster and/or other materials to the FORCE2017 presentation upload with a CC-BY license (the contact author needs to log in with the same Copernicus Office user ID as for the abstract submission). Alternatively, come to the registration desk and let us help you do that. Feel free to make your material also available online in other places (e.g. Figshare or Zenodo).
