FORCE2017 Travel Fellowships

The deadline for applications for FORCE2017 Conference Travel support was 25 August 2017.

Limited travel support is available to participate in the FORCE2017 conference. Anyone may submit an application for travel support; however, preference will be given early career applicants and those with documented financial need on the information provided on the application form. Historically, the application requests received exceed the funding available and we therefore might not be able to fund all applicants.

Maximum awards: funds are awarded based on actual expenses up to a maximum amount as outlined below.

• Travellers from European countries to Berlin will be given reimbursement of travel expenses up to a maximum of €750.
• Travellers from outside European countries to Berlin will be given reimbursement of travel expenses up to a maximum of €1.500.
• In addition, conference registration fees will be waived for travel fellowship recipients.

We note that a special session will be arranged for travel fellowship award recipients on 24 October and we strongly recommend attendance. This event provides extra training and social interactions with the Force11 community.

Travel fellowship recipients agree to the following:

1. Contribute to the conference by presenting a poster, demo, talk or writing a blog about the event.
2. Attend the session for travel fellowship award recipients.
3. Complete a survey at the end of the conference.
